Researchers discovered a method to induce self-destruction in glioblastoma, an aggressive type of brain cancer. By introducing a specially developed molecule that inhibits the hijacked adaptive mechanisms cancer cells use to manage stress, the researchers triggered the cancer cells to self-destruct.
