Researchers found the brains of three species of stranded dolphins had classic biomarkers associated with human Alzheimer's disease. The findings add weight to the "sick leader" theory, where a group of healthy dolphins finds themselves in dangerously shallow waters after following a group leader showing signs of confusion.
