Neuroimaging evaluation and successful treatment by using directional deep brain stimulation and levodopa in a patient with GNAO1-associated movement disorder: A case report

GNAO1 mutations cause early infantile epileptic encephalopathy 17 [1] and neurodevelopmental disorder with involuntary movements without epileptic seizure (NEDIM) [2]. Most patients with NEDIM develop severe choreoathetosis, dystonia, and hypotonia.
